Home from Ally Pally so time to post another card from the Spellbinders POD.
A very pretty cross, which can be cut fully out or just the decorative pattern shape in the card because there are two dies in the pack.
I cut the cross out of mirror card along with the foliage. The flowers were out of the same base cardstock and a glass Glintz added on top.
The embossing folder is one of my favourites from Creative Expressions but I used one of Debbi Moores' embossing blanks with it. This left the area behind the cross flat giving another look.
I added my favourite ribbon at this moment in time, crushed ribbon is also from Creative Expressions.
Another 22 cards to show, so plenty of ideas for those new D-lites.

ReplyDeleteI like how you have softened out the centre where the cross is as it reminds me of a dream like picture. With the foreground in focus and then fading out to the background and then like a beam of light, the cross coming shining through. Imagination goes on a bit of a rampage most of the time, so please excuse the derainged ramblings of a mad woman. It is a beautiful card with the silver and white, and i too love Sues heart embossing folder. The new D-lites from Spellbinders has a lot of flower dies that are very practical and useful in a number of ways. I don't think that there is a duff one in the new collection at all.
