Black & White Christmas
The image for this one was stamped using Jet Black Archival, then I made the aperture in Black card using a Spellbinders label. The acetate had already been stamped and embossed with snowflakes as this was left over from a previous card I made, as the saying goes crafters never waste anything. The holly and the robin were stamped in black and then glittered with Twinkles Aurora over the leaves and main body of the bird. For the red breast and the berries I used some glitter from Glitter Magic. The white dots around the edge were made using the white pen from Ranger.
More Christmas tomorrow.
I hope everything went ok with Sheena's op,will post if I hear anything.
If anyone in my area is looking for the new Crafter's Companion magazine, they have it for sale at Colemans Warehouse, got mine today.

Morning Karen, Beautiful card, love the robin and his sparkly red breast and also the holly which is sparkly too. But the gorgeous black and white, the country scene is beautiful, I love it. The black and white theme with a pop of colour is 'right up my street', it is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat op is Sheena having? hope she is OK.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
