Cut and Tuck

Morning, just when I thought the snow was clearing, it's started again. Hope it is more sleet  rather than snow.
I have projects to complete today, something a little different from my usual style, well crafting is always a big adventure, you never know where it will end up.
Today's samples are using the Cut and Tuck dies from Tattered Lace. Used to love folding the lace but not the cutting, craft knife and I don 't get on. So these dies make it easy, and these can be folded in different ways, because of the amount of different sections.

Ok , off to work I go.
Happy Crafting.

Pocket full of Dreams

Well we did get some snow, not all in one go though.

So I needed the heater on before starting work today. Luckily it has started to clear, just hope the roads are not to slippy tonight.
Today's cards are from the Pocket full of Dreams papercraft kit. Tried to make things other than just cards with this kit, just to show the variety of  projects you can make with it.

I will post the cards tomorrow.
There is still quite a bit left, even some flowers, after making that wreath.
I also had the A4 card pack which went with it, this would help extend the amount of items made .
Back to work now before going to the pub with Hubby for a meal.
Happy Crafting.

Roses Roses

Loving the new moulds by Katy Sue which Kathryn ( Sugar Buttons ) has designed. Going to have to buy one of these and give it ago. I love  Katy Sue  moulds , so easy to use with clay and UTEE .
Had fun just recently making roses using one of their moulds,
Below is a couple more cards and a wreath using it, the papers are from the Shabby Chic CD also from Katy Sue.

No snow here yet, sunny, windy and very cold but the cloud is now building, not looking forward to being in my craft studio if it does snow as my heater is not playing nicely.
Ok better get some work done.

Embossing and more Embossing.

Morning, I'm sat here watching Jo Channon  with all those so lovely dies. I'm fortunate to have a few of them in my stash. So today I thought I would show some of my cards  add with the latest Interchangeables .

I did manage to kind of tidy my craft 'studio' , well, enough to have crafting space. Lol
So this afternoon I'm off to play with some new things.

New shop and Couture 2

Sorry for the weekend break, only it was rather busy.
Saturday , I was at the opening of a new store in Basildon called Craft Plus Uk. This store is run by a lovely couple  who  I met  and got to know when they visited  the  shows I was at around the country.
Although it is a 2 hour drive for me , it was a very easy and straight forward one. The shop is larger than I expected ,with room for  workshops and clubs  which they will be setting up in the very near future .

This was taken showing my demo spot at the back of the shop, as you can see there is plenty of room for more stock , which is still arriving  daily.
The website will also be up and running in the near future, but if you need anything just give them a call.
They sell Woodware, Ranger, Creative Expressions, Crafter's Companion, they already have Sheena's new stamps and dies. There are many other brands as well.
I spent my day in Ranger mode, happy with my Distress inks and Iron..............
Thursday, Friday and Sunday  was spent  Tattered Lacing, with samples for the new magazine, saying no more..........
Yesterday I had my gorgeous  Grandaughter, who loves to talk, I wonder who she inherits that from.
Every week her vocabulary has grown,  now putting sentences together.
I see there are more Couture die shows on Create and Craft today, so here are a few more cards I made.

Hope you like them,.
This evenings job is to give my craft room a bit of a tidy so  I can at least work. Lol
Happy Crafting.

Shabby Chic from Katy Sue

This morning saw the launch of Katy Sue's new CD Shabby Chic, with a free mould, a floral swag.
I have never really used CDs in my crafting until I became self - employed  except using them as a good source of backing papers. However I'm now enjoying using them, I still like adding ink, glitter, embossing powder to them, so I can still get messy with the items I print off.
I did love the Rose mould, so easy to produce a lovely 3D rose. I had lovely time using clay and UTEE to produce quite a large amount. Guess these will appear on my cards as time goes on.
I posted three of these cards on Facebook last night, one of my friends told me off , as she had to by the CD plus Rose mould that evening , she couldn't wait for this mornings show............. sorry !
So here are the three plus a couple more to tempt you.

CD's and Stencils

Thought I would do my post now while I'm waiting for the postman, wish he would hurry up as the  contents of the parcel are for a rush job.
Going to be a busy few days as I am also getting ready for a  demo day at a new shop opening in Basildon. I'll give more details about this tomorrow.
I will try to mix up the cards I have to show you , so today I will show you some cards I made for  my demonstrations for Crafter's Companion.

A card made using the Bebunny Floral CD and dies.

Moonbeam Meadow CD.

Had fun making this, the background  was sprayed with Spectrum Noirs using the Ebrush. Then I placed Sheena's stencil over it and sprayed again with the black Spectrum. Wasn't sure wether it would work but it gave  a really strong image. I did need to secure the stencil down though.
Can't wait for when I have time to play with my Ebrush, but I have other jobs to do first.

I'm back

I'm back !!!
Sorry for the break , life and work became very busy and looking at the date of my last post, which was the day before my birthday, I think hitting 50 was too much of shock............... Lol
So there is a backlog of cards to show you.
I will have to work backwards, with a few cards each day.
Some posts will be quick ones, as days are pretty full, others longer in which I will let you know what I've been up to since the end of August last year.
For today

These three cards have been made using the new Couture dies launched at CHA this month on Create and Craft. I have been very lucky in getting to use these dies before launch and really enjoyed making these cards.
Happy Crafting.
