Windows today, but for this card I used a die-cut as a stencil and inked through Distress inks.
Cut out two of the wrought iron railings, they join together very easily.
I used the twigs from the holly set and cut some leaves from the sprigs for the branch.
For this window I cut off the fan light off one die-cut, then cut another window but just to use the ledge part.
For the background I used a Couture Creations folder and then inked the edge with Tumbled Glass.
To finish the card I added a variety of the flowers and some sprigs of leaves.
Hi karen thank you two lovely cards take care Kitty
ReplyDeleteGood morning Karen,
ReplyDeleteDon't laugh but your top card looks like the sunset giving way to stormy skies, the autumn leaves blowing in the wind from the trees, but that's my very vivid imagination for you. Both of your cards are lovely, but the 2nd card would be wonderful for a blind person to see. Because you have the embossing and the flowers and an actual opening window with the leaves growing up the side of the house wall, it would give a blind person a beautiful image that they could see with their fingers. beautiful Karen,
Love and crafty hugs
