Two cards today using Tattered Lace dies from the Music of the Night range, saying that this card has a flower from the Sentiment floral set.
The background paper is from a paper pad from Lili of the Valley called Antebellum, I really love the papers in this pad you may see more of them on future cards.
I cut the Cascading Circle in both green and pink, to be able to cut the individual flowers in pink and lay them over the green piece. The centre flower I made up using the same cardstock and edged the petals with Victorian Velvet Distress ink.
The wording was made using the Alphabet Deco and the same cardstock and ink. To add detail round the edge of the card I did some faux stitching.
Another version of the Cascading Circle here, just cut out of white card. Again I cut it twice , to give it a 3D look and also to expand the end of the swirl.
The background was a blend of two Distress inks, over which I flicked some water and then blotted off. Then added some Black Soot around the edge to frame the piece. I used the alphabet again for the wording.

ReplyDeleteOh we're spoilt for choice today, and i do mean spoilt, as i really don't know which one i like the best. The first is lovely colours and making it with the flowers attached to the ends is beautiful. The blue night starry sky is like seeing a comet zooming through the skies. Its like the moon glowing through the dark blue of the sky and instead of a face, its the fairy flowers getting ready to float down. I think i have fallen for the 2nd card more as it allows your mind to dream.
