I have been busy, spent most of the bank holiday weekend in my shed while my Hubby was in his garage. We only seemed to meet up for. meals. Lol
With being busy it means there are plenty of samples to show you.
Tonight sees the launch of a new set of dies from Tattered Lace, I love these and I told Stephanie so as soon as I saw them. When I first started crafting, one of my first loves was scrapbooking, these dies would be brilliant for those seaside holiday photos. I really wanted to do a page using these dies but time ran out. I'll save them for when we take Mia to the coast for the first time.
Do you remember using a wind break ?
I do, on Great Yarmouth beach, we went there every June for our holiday when we were kids.
Hanging the beach towel over the wind break to dry.
I wanted to add seashells to this card but could I find any......no but after a trip to a garden centre I found a few. I remember when I was little there were shops near the sea that sold netting bags of all different shells. Do they still ?
I used torn Kraft card for the sand but on another card I used sandpaper both give quite a good effect.
Coffee stirrers make very good poles for the wind break.
As with all Tattered Lace dies don't think these dies will only be used for seaside card and scrapbook pages, watch tonight or keep an eye on my blog for other ideas.........
Happy Crafting?
