Birthday Rabbit

Just a few more samples from the weekend at Excel. I know....I just had to use Distress inks with them....and you can. The background was created with a torn scrap of card and ink up to it to create clouds with the blue and small hills with the green. Tumbled Glass and Peeled paint to be exact with a bit of Chipped Sapphire for the flowers and butterflies. The rabbit I painted with Brushed Corduroy, he's quite a character isn't he.

The card below has quite a simple look to it, the stamps are on the same set as the rabbit, it's a celebration set.
The wine bottle and glasses were stamped with Memento, the bottle painted with Distress Ink. Too give the glasses that shiny look I used Glossy Accents. To create the fizzy bubbles I used Crystal Stickles at the top of the glass and above.
The pattern around the edge I did free hand to join up the hearts which are stamps from the set.
Sorry for yesterday, I didn't realise I'd posted  the same card twice....I do love this card though.
Right, I'm off to pack the car.
Happy Crafting.

  2. Morning Karen, Absolutely loved this card when I saw on FB last night, the bunnie is gorgeous and the whole card is so beautifully coloured, I need to start stamping again when I get some time (there aren't enough hours in the day for me ha ha), I haven't caught up since Easter and all the preparations, cleaning and Services we had at Church and combined with the hour going on too, I seem to have been out of sync ever since ha ha, must be an 'age thing' ha ha.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
