Distressed Oak

I started off this card by cutting a circle aperture in a piece of scrap paper. Laid this over the white card and inked over the circle with Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint Distress ink,to give sky and grass.Using Walnut Stain Distress Marker I inked and stamped the Oak through the aperture.
After adding the wording I draw 2 lines free hand around the edge.
I managed to see Sheena's show tonight, missed it as I was in Glasgow. It was great to see what the other DT members had made with this collection of stamps.

  1. Morning Karen, I have been missing for a while because of computer problems, ended up having to get an Engineer to install a super hub, so back online, although has been misbehaving already, I wrote my comment and pressed publish, and pressed again and again, then the comment vanished !!!!!
Your cards that I missed are gorgeous, especially the doorway one, and this one is fantastic, I love the technique with the circle, it is beautiful.
Lots of love from Patricia xx
