Lavender Collection

Sorry for the break in posting, hopefully I can start to post again on a regular basis.

Well the shows are over for this year,so I thought it would be quiet 'till after Christmas but no....
Several phonecalls leading to a demo and a whole session of making samples.

Also a weekend away with my husband in Manchester, really enjoyed this it was great to see the Trafford Centre with all it's Christmas decorations.A lego tree,a talking tree,Santa in his sleigh with reindeer hanging from the ceiling in the food area.

We didn't spot the Santa in the tower until I saw a dad and his son pointing up at the tower. It looks great in the dark too.

Well back to what I've been up too,I was asked to do a demo at the Stamp Hut in Bury St Edmunds, loved this, got to play with Distress pens all day and of course some Distress inks. The pens are great for colouring stamps with a lot of detail which you can't do with the pads. Then all they need is a huff to moisten. I managed to get 10 impressions without reloading once with ink.

Ok as to the other phonecall it was from Create and Craft asking if I could do some samples for the VIP event. Well who would say no, it was great playing with the kits from My Minds Eye,American Crafts and Teresa Collins. It gave me a chance to do some scrapbooking which I love but I've had no chance to do.The papers were lovely and with matching acessories it made it very easy.
Here is one of the pages I did, it was made from the My Minds Eye kit ,the Lavender Collection.

This photo was taken in 2007, the two older girls are my daughters, the other is my niece. It was from a  session we had to give a framed picture to the grandparents for Christmas.
Well that's all for tonight ,as I've got to pick up my daughter from her friends, better not be late......
